Frequently Asked Questions
The most convenient option for your travel documents is our fully electronic itineraries. These e-documents can be accessed on any smartphone or computer during your trip and can be easily shared to friends and family that want your itinerary. When the time comes, we will send you instructions on how to utilize them to the fullest. If you prefer a hard copy of your itinerary, contact us.
Once your itinerary is confirmed and you are ready to make a deposit, we will send over a secure credit card authorization form and invoice through TravelJoy. Your credit card will not be charged immediately upon authorization. We will later go in with the information you provided to make charges on your behalf. Your information is then saved so you can revisit invoices and make hassle-free future payments.
No, we do not book with Airbnb for our clients. Airbnb has a protection policy for their owner stating that the person that is staying in the home must but the one who books. Additionally, Airbnb has negatively impacted the cultures and economies of many of the destinations we book the most, which has been causing issues in cities around the world. Because of this and the fact that we cannot properly vet and vouch for an Airbnb property, we do not book Airbnb’s for our clients.
Cancellation penalties vary by supplier. We can discuss the specific policies pertaining to your trip prior to approving the final trip proposal. However, all service fees charged by Piedmont Travel are fully non-refundable.
We will discuss COVID restrictions relevant to your itinerary during our first consultation. As part of my finalization process on your trip, we will keep you updated with any changes to restrictions.
Due to the highly customized nature of your vacation, trip insurance is highly recommended in the event you must cancel or postpone your trip.
Pricing, while very important, is only one of the many factors we consider when putting together the best package. We take our client’s budget very seriously, but ultimately, we keep your best interest in mind and make our travel recommendations with all relevant factors considered. Also, we are unable to price line-item pricing, as your package consists of many components.
Absolutely. After you have looked everything over, we can talk through any changes you would like to make. We offer three complimentary changes to your trip proposal.
